Can
I put a supercharger on my Chevy Cavalier? |
We
only sell superchargers that are on supercharged cars from
the factory (i.e. only the cars noted on the product page)
Can
I buy parts for my supercharger from Superchargers and
Accessories? |
Since
we only sell rebuilt superchargers, we are not in the market for
selling parts. |
Can
I put a smaller pulley on my supercharger? |
Yes,
you can. But it will void the warranty. |
How
long does the rebuilt supercharger last? |
Under
normal driving circumstances superchargers go for 75,000 miles
to 125,000 miles. |
How
many years of experience do you have working with superchargers? |
I
have owned and operated my own company since 1992 and have specialized
in GM cars for over 25 years. And have been
rebuilding since 1992. |
How
does the core exchange work? |
A
core exchange is sort of a recycle system. We payback your
deposit so we can keep rebuilding superchargers and selling them
at a reasonable price. |
Does
the supercharger oil have to be changed? |
It
is not necessary to change the oil. Only to check
it
with every engine oil change. |
How
do I know if my supercharger needs to be replaced? |
Generally,
the front seal will leak oil thus causing the bearings to become
noisy. Eventually the noise from the bearing will turn
into a growl. When this occurs you should start shopping.
